I worked at RGIS full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

You have a lot of time off to do what you want really.

    Cons

The hours and shifts are crazy. You might work 4 different job sites in 1 day and driving is your responsibility. No time for sleep or anything else during peak season. They work you like a dog and pay is terrible. Some days I didn't even make enough to cover gas.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have more stable shifts and not work people around the clock.

I worked at RGIS part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Meeting people from varied backgrounds. Helped me learn the area due to traveling to different stores. They are eager to promote if you work well and fast. Would provide travel if job was out of given mileage range.

    Cons

Promotion ladder is confusing. Each team lead ran stores differently. Be prepared to get called in on your off days and have your work days doubled if you work well. Training seemed repetitive at times. Lack of communication with management at times.

Company was not focused on employees and their well being, work-mule would be an accurate description of my time at RGIS

I worked at RGIS full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

They offered paid training. They offered transportation to job sites. The interview process was painless and smooth.

    Cons

They did not offer paid time in order to use their transportation to and from job sites, often times this was hours before the job started, and hours after. Promotions at RGIS seemed to be based on favoritism and not actual work ethic and responsibility. There seemed to be many supervisors with very little actual supervision. They lack organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Manage. Try to understand that your employees are your greatest asset and reward accordingly. This isn't summer camp, this is a business.

    Pros

The people you meet are all cool. Management is okay, they were once in your place so they kind of have a feel for what you do. Most work is done through the middle of the night and early morning.

    Cons

No personal growth or proper training, the job might be easy and yes you learn on the job but pay is based on how fast you count. If you're going to a store that's far away you have to deal with somebody else' driving. They pay you enough to gas in your car to get to the next store to do inventory. Also they expect you to pull heavy merchandise, count it, then put it back...yet pay is based off how fast you count, -_-. There are multiple supervisors and they all have different ways of counting.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If the store is 30 minutes or more from the office provide transportation!!!!

I have been working at RGIS

    Pros

You get to travel o different cities and work with new people or people you haven't seen in a while. They pay is OK, could be better. It was better a few years ago.

    Cons

Management is very unorganized when it comes to having vehicles ready for us to leave the meet site and when it comes to scheduling people to work. They have certain people pull doubles while others sit at home.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Schedule better, organize better, communicate better!!!

I have been working at RGIS part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

RGIS has a lot of perks. Base pay starts at 9/hr, but that could go up if you count quickly. They are very flexible and you can tell them that you can't make an event if they schedule you for one you can't/don't want to go to.

    Cons

Every event starts either early in the morning or starts in the evening and goes late, often until past midnight. Also, there is quite a bit of driving involved. Often events are 45 min away, though if farther than 1 hr, than everyone meets at the office and uses company cars to get to the event. It can be a little nerve racking to have to count a certain number of pieces per hour, but ultimately I suppose there has to be some floor for the speed at which an auditor has to count otherwise inventories would take forever.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management does a pretty good job, I was surprised at the how nice they were. Obviously, there are always certain individuals that just rub you the wrong way, but nothing too aggravating.
