    Good company

Inventory Auditor (Current Employee) Fort Worth, TX

ProsRGIS has a lot of perks. Base pay starts at 9/hr, but that could go up if you count quickly. They are very flexible and you can tell them that you can't make an event if they schedule you for one you can't/don't want to go to.

ConsEvery event starts either early in the morning or starts in the evening and goes late, often until past midnight. Also, there is quite a bit of driving involved. Often events are 45 min away, though if farther than 1 hr, than everyone meets at the office and uses company cars to get to the event. It can be a little nerve racking to have to count a certain number of pieces per hour, but ultimately I suppose there has to be some floor for the speed at which an auditor has to count otherwise inventories would take forever.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement does a pretty good job, I was surprised at the how nice they were. Obviously, there are always certain individuals that just rub you the wrong way, but nothing too aggravating.

    It's a job

Inventory Taker (Former Employee) Warner Robins, GA

ProsThe actual work is fairly easy, the unorthodox schedule works in your favor sometimes.

ConsUnusual scheduling every week, low pay, maintaining APH.

Advice to Senior ManagementConsider not showing so much favoritism.

    An opportunity for growth.

Inventory Taker (Current Employee) Jacksonville, FL

ProsA company that hires within with fast track promotions. Team orientated that relies on the feeicientcy and accuracy for the employees.

ConsLong hours at odd times of the day. Shifts that range from starting early mornings, 2:00am, to late nights, 9:00pm. Requires a vast amount of standing and concentration.

Advice to Senior ManagementContinuous training for the employees.

    It was all right

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsYou do get pay raises if you work quickly. The people that work there are usually nice. I worked here during college breaks and it was a good job for that. They hire anyone that applies, they are always looking for people.

ConsThe management are sometimes short-tempered. Also they expect you to work crazy hours, some days I would work a night shift then be expected to be at another store at 5am the next morning. Also, there is no end time for shifts, you leave when the work is done.

I stay for the money and flexibility. Not the worst I've done.

    Inventory Expert (Current Employee)

ProsFlexible hours. Your speed controls your salary. I started at a couple dollars over minimum wage, with my last promotion, my raise put me $3 above minimum wage. No customer interaction. If you want to show up, do your job and go home, then this is for you. You can attend school or use this to supplement a second job.

ConsNo benefits worth getting. Jobs can last 2-12 hours. Highly variable, though eventually somewhat predictable.
Area manager used to be a supervisor who wasn't afraid to embarrass you and arrogantly tell you how you were doing your job wrong in an nonconstructive way. Almost no training.
Coworkers can be worth avoiding, making a long van ride to a job uncomfortable. Ugly polo shirt. High turn over. Machines and lasers hardly function, effecting your speed/accuracy.
Almost no work Christmas season (leaving ample time with family, so that's a plus).

Advice to Senior ManagementMore training and updated machines could help keep current employees!
