    ProsFlexible schedule. Opportunities for career advancement. Major holidays off, 6 month evaluations, health insurance offered for part time employees as well as full time. family oriented company activities. Fun working atmosphere.

    ConsAs with any job this one is not perfect but close to it. I did deal with one manager that was really unprofessional and got too emotionally involved with her employees. Other than that if you dont like working with really young people this may not be the career for you. As for my experience at times I got annoyed listening to teenage conversations but there are often times a good mix of young and old employees. I worked here for almost five years and did not get an opportunity to advance into management until i transferred to another store and worked one year. I have heard of individuals getting promoted within 6 months. I believe that there is a small margin of bias when it comes to certain locations.

    Advice to Senior Managementwould suggest developing employees that have potential instead of overlooking them and to do your job effectively and efficiently for employees that work hard for you day in and day out.

    Great company and culture

    ProsFlexible scheduling with fun people to work with. This isn't your typical fast food job and everyone is motivated to get things done and work hard for the most part. There's lots of cleaning involved but overall it's pretty fun. Our management respected us crew members and worked really hard to make sure we were accommodated. If you're looking for a flexible job and don't have much experience, working at Cane's will develop your communication skills and make you a better person in the long run.

    ConsNot very much upward mobility. You get a raise every 6 months, but it's minimal. I wish they rewarded hard-working employees more

    ProsI am able to have a flexible schedule and not micro managed. As long as I produce what is expected of me ( a lot of great manager candidates) then I am doing well. Raising Cane's follows the promise of reward and recognition. We strive to make sure everyone is well taken care of and treated fairly. It is a people driven concept. Very refreshing to work for a restaurant chain that believes in a balance of work and home life.

    A Good Company to Work For

    ProsYou get 7 holidays off a year, 8 if in Louisiana, the crew is treated great, you get paid to have fun at work, and they are also active in and around the community.

    ProsThere is a lot of growth within the company I am currently a crew member and I can see the opportunities as long as you work hard and it is a reasonable company as they care and take interest in your life and work around your schedule.

    ConsThere are not very many cons to this company. I think there are a lot of strict and high standards but that is one of the reasons why the company is so successful.
