    A Company Solving Great Challenges

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Sioux Falls, SD

ProsI work for a company that solves great challenges in areas of feeding the world, saving lives, and protecting the environment. That's a purpose I can get behind! We also have a Young Professionals Network to network, volunteer, and expand our skills.

ConsThe fast pace can become overwhelming. Currently have a reputation for manufacturing outdated products instead of technology innovations that we're currently producing.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire additional people to even the work load. We have a great story to tell and need to get it out more to attract great talent.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    too political

Manufacturing Technician (Current Employee) Sioux Falls, SD

ProsDecent pay and benefits some new management trying
     to make things better

Consknowing how to do your job, doing a great job and always being on your job including overtime means nothing with this company, just depends on who's pocket you are in, company will do well until they get competition then all the waste will drive them down will not be able to compete

Advice to Senior ManagementNeed to do something about lower management they do not know the job that their operators are supposed to be doing expect techs to take care of everything including training

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

The job is easy but most co workers are hard to get along with in EFD.

Operator I (Current Employee) Sioux Falls, SD

ProsThe pay is great and the benefits are pretty decent the work is pretty easy.

    ConsPolitical atmosphere
Long time employees are hostile to new employees for fear of being surpassed

Advice to Senior ManagementNew employees do not feel that what they have to say or suggest is heard. The company could save literally a few million dollars if they got took new ideas seriously and worked hard to determine if they are good options.

    Progressive, people oriented company.

Applications Technician (Current Employee) Sioux Falls, SD

ProsRoom for advancement, most people are nice. Not hounding or demanding, some freedoms are given as long as you are productive.

ConsLarge company so you must deal with the beuocracy associated with it. Some people do not fit in and very rarely does an employee get the boot.

Advice to Senior ManagementReally need to act quicker to solve problems and respond to customer demands, too many things get caught in limbo for too long.

Okay to work for until you find something better

Electronic Technician (Current Employee) Saint Louis, MO

ProsGood chance to grow if you know someone in the management.
No opportunity based on skills but benefits are not bad.

ConsNo chance to grow based on your skills.

Advice to Senior ManagementRaven in Saint Louis need to start hiring people based on skills. The upper management in SD need to watch closely what is going on around here. Encouraging good people by promoting or appreciating can help.

    Review

Production (Current Employee) Sioux Falls, SD

ProsIf you are about to retire, this is the company for you. There is not a lot opportunity due to the fact of it being a company that is already matured. Company values experience, over skills.

ConsCompany doesn't follow it's open door policy. Command hierarchy, makes it difficult to advance in career. Very "Political" company, since they tend not to live up to their promises.

Advice to Senior Managementmanagement anonymous review.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
