    Pros

Great people to work for and with. Management easy to interact with. If you have any question/help there's always someone that can help you.

    Cons

Working on a temporary contract is hard when it winds down. I would like to see more contracts awarded to Raytheon to be able to continue on with them.

I worked at Raytheon full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great company to work for. Lots of opportunity to develop a career for a new/mid-level employee. Good training, international opportunities and networking. Provides a great service to our national security and that of other countries.

    Cons

Minimal "on-boarding" - only a half day. Lots of bureaucracy and process, procedures and annual training requirements. Get a mentor assigned to assist with your career there or you will get lost or overlooked.

    Advice to Management

Need more "care and feeding" of the troops - many retired "senior leaders" forget their leadership skills and driven by bottom-line / win-rates versus working as a collaborative team.

I have been working at Raytheon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

People understand work/life balance so work hours are very flexible, working from home is an option, and there's after work social events. Easy to transfer to other departments and sites. It's a very diverse company, there's lots of support groups. People are great, and it's a great company to start out in.

    Cons

Hard to move up into better positions and get raises

    Pros

    Cons

Workplace culture lacks drive to excel and most employees seem stuck in their ancient ways.

I have been working at Raytheon full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, work life balance, and upper management that genuinely seems to care about your well being. Truly a stellar company to work for.

    Cons

Depending on your site and area of expertise, options can be limited. Variance from site to site is quite expansive and is reflective of the community environment (pro/con).

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in your very, very good employees and continue to value and train those who are new and have potential.
