    Company doesn't care about you!!

    Server (Former Employee) McDonough, GA

ProsMet some great people and networked a lot. Darden also had some good benefits like weekly pay and discount Sprint cell service.

ConsNo loyalty to good employees. When Darden wanted to change the game up from buss boys to service assistants many people were laid off and long time servers (including myself) were taken off the floor for three months to be an SA. My income was cut in half and I struggled to pay bills. I had been serving with them for over a year with little to no guest complaints.

Advice to Senior ManagementHave a heart and remember real people work for the company. Every decision affects people's lives.

Desperation, Thy Name is Red Lobster

Kitchen Prep (Former Employee) Syracuse, NY

ProsThe location I worked at was close to my house, the parking was OK, the waitresses were good looking and the work isn't very difficult to do.

ConsThe hours are awful, the culture is unbelievably petty, the management has an almost scary INGSOC mentality, the pay is absolutely awful and they expect you to stay overtime without paying you overtime. Also, they stalk you online. This isn't conspiracy talk, this is actually something they make very clear to you. If you work for Darden, you need to be sure your social profiles are set to very strict privacy settings.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet over yourselves.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
