    Pros

You get paid every week and discounts on food for working there.

    Cons

they close at 10pm you may not get out till 12am depending on the speed of the manager and you must always close even if your done with your work and 6 employees are still there. You still get the same pay not difference for closing.

    Advice to Management

actually let people know they must be able to close for this position because some people have to catch the bus and may not have a way home. This is why the turn over is so high at this position.

I worked at Red Lobster (More than a year)

    Pros

Free food when youre working in the back house and discounts at other company owned restaurants, thats about it

    Cons

    Corporate,
Terrible management, (IE Sexual harrasment from my homosexual employer) no raises no possibility for growth because they would rather let the mexicans that have been working for minimum wage for a few years have the better poisitions and shifts than thier culinary graduate employees. all in all terrible to work for

    Pros

You are in charge of the money you make as a server

    Cons

Your scheduling will be unfortunate, when its slow your bills will not be paid because you will either be dismissed from a shift or will receive 1-3 shifts a week. As we all know, bills still come in the mail. There is no full-time, only for employees that have been with the company for 10+ years.

    Advice to Management

They do not care about their employee's needs or life circumstances. they will put themselves before you and the company , but claim everything they do is for guest experience !

Stop being emotionally and verbally abusive towards your employees and actually manage.

  10. I don't recommend anyone working here.

    I worked at Red Lobster

    Pros

The only positive thing about this job was that I worked with some very nice friendly servers.

    Cons

The management is HORRIBLE. They fed me the same crap they did everyone else about how they care about their employees and blah blah blah. And then a few months later I found out I was training people in, that were already making more than me! I asked why I wasn't even making minimum wage and they just ignored me. When I had a problem at work and wanted to talk to a manager about it, they told me to "get over it", so I went to the general manager who also told me "life isn't fair". I worked my butt off at work just to be treated like garbage. The favoritism has to stop at this restaurant.

    Advice to Management

Choose your management a little more wisely. I know at the red lobster I worked at, that there were numerous complaints about the management and nothing was ever done. I'm disgusted by how much the managers get away with. My manager called me a bad word and when the owner came in to see how his restaurant was doing, I told him about it and he called me a liar and brushed the whole situation under the rug. I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy to have to work at such a immature, unreasonable restaurant.

    Pros

great employees and great benefits also

    Cons

management are a joke. promotes people that don't deserve it. its all about politics here.

    Advice to Management

respect and care for your employees more than yourself. remove that mentality of "well if your not going to do it, somebody else will"
