I worked at Red Lobster full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, received a raise almost every year, some really great leadership in upper management.

    Cons

Slow to innovate and change. Slow to remodel in some markets. Some very weak leadership in the director of operations level. Not a scratch kitchen or very culinary forward at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Follow through on your promises.

I worked at Red Lobster part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The managers are always on top of things and are very good with training. My co workers were energetic and helpful. The hosts and hostesses rock!

    Cons

Sometimes the wait staff get lazy and depend on the hosts and hostesses to pick up their slack and bust all the tables. Long waits would, of course, would provoke crabby customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You should pay both men and women equally. The (equally qualified) histesses hired after me were paid fifty cents to a dollar less!
