    Pros

Met some great life long friends, good discount, good health benefits and 401k which is hard to find in retail

    Cons

They do not pay their retail employees enough, bad marketing for new products, bad leadership. The company is downsizing because they are not making money.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to get back to the people!! Once Adidas took over, they just focused on numbers. The company is not investing time in training their employees or developing them. Many of the new GM's for their stores, are people who have worked in retail but have never worked with athletic footwear or apparel and it's embarrassing. The company invest money into new products but they do not invest money into marketing so you will never know about the new products. Citrate Corporate told the stores they are responsible for their own marketing and they should do so by using social media and community outreach. Corporate should stop hiring and promoting people who are ruining the business. As a result of this, the company is downsizing and eliminating and there is no incentive to work here.

The also ran. Once on par with Nike, Reebok is slowly falling behind lowly companies like Fila and Sketchers.

    Pros

The motivated product design team keeps the company afloat while engaging in a constant upstream fight against the relentless current of out of touch marketing staff and unmotivated/untrained product developers.

    Cons

Senior management team is full of stereotypical undereducated New Englanders. They could not be father removed, or any less interested in market trends, research, or innovation.

    Advice to Management

How can you expect different results by restructuring with the same players every few years? Stop promoting people who provide mediocre performance. Successful companies innovate. Non innovative companies fail. Embrace the importance of innovative product creation before it's too late.

    Pros

    Offers a good employee discount

    Cons

No bonus incentives, change in Management too often, unorganized structure

    Advice to Management

Bonuses, employee appreciation needed, should care more about the employees and not just into making money.

    Pros

There are great options for filling your day with a workout or a coffee. Good parties! Lots if good people to work with. Great campus.

    Cons

Management changes direction every two minutes and direction doesn't come easy...if at all. No work-life balance...very difficult to plan your life when seasonal calendars are not delivered. Very little value on veteran knowledge...

    Advice to Management

Talent isn't only about "who your best friend is"...reebok has definitely missed out on a lot of knowledge due to money driven cuts.

    Pros

-Great employee discount -Seasonal clothing allowances -Fun work environment -Opportunity to advance -Fun in-store events -Reasonable hours -Working out while at work

    Cons

-Unrealistic sales goals -Poor product -Lack of communication between corporate -High turnover rate -Missing an identity -Complete waste of resources

    Advice to Management

They expect to compete with lululemon and Nike, but they offer an inferior product at the same price. They have at least 3 different manufacturing locations in Asia and they are all made differently and fit differently. They seem to think they can swim with the big fish, when really they are just stuck at the bottom of the ocean!

    Pros

Travel perks are nice and help alleviate some stress when workload seems unbearable. If you are a fitness fanatic, you can expect daily encouragement to move, cancel or delay meetings. Friday summer hours.

    Cons

Fitness (Crossfit) enthusiasm and appearance seem to matter more in terms of company progression than dedication and hard work towards daily job responsibilities. Little support offered when morale is low. Lay offs and restructuring seem to be inevitable and at least yearly, resulting in little confidence about job security. Minimal action taken when employees face inhospitable working conditions due to unreasonable upper management. Zero to no mentoring.

    Advice to Management

Work on rewarding and maintaining talent by consistent salary review and bonus offerings - time it takes to get approvals for pay increases or additional reward money is far too long - people walk and we lose extraordinary designers to competitors offering more pay for the same work. Offer support for new managers and teams.

    Pros

Many of the non-managment employees are truly talented and hardworking. A great worklife balance in the footwear department.

    Cons

Almost comedic lack of direction and focus. Weak upper management and weaker Director level. Offen times the wrong people promoted for the wrong reasons. Lots of layoffs - I mean 'restructuring' - over the past ten years. No career planning.

    Advice to Management

Try to make the best product possible - not the best product possible for a price. Stop all of the compromises to the product and don't release something until it is ready. Less is more. Create a career path to follow for each employment category.

    Advice to Management
