Work hard, learn excellent customer service, but comparatively to other jobs do it for practically minimum wage.

I have been working at Regency Theatres part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

You will learn how to interact with customers in a very professional manner and understand proper work flow (which is priceless in the service industry).

    Cons

So concerned about spending and holding onto that extra dollar customers and employees become expendable. Sometimes it feels as if the company believes it's a privilege to work for them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Attempt to not be so reactionary to issues. HR is literally a nonexistent department. Waterhole talk almost entirely consists of how corporate doesn't care so long as the money keeps rolling in and "what they don't know wont hurt them". Disgruntled employees would be less prevalent if maybe it appeared like corporate cared about it's lower employees.

    Pros

Free movies and discount on concessions stand

    Cons

A LOT of responsibilities and staff the bare minimum

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have more leeway on payroll in order to allow management to oversee staff instead of cleaning theatres and bathrooms

    I worked at Regency Theatres

    Pros

The easiest job you'll ever have!

    Cons

At a certain age its pathetic to still be working there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote managers that can manage! If the maturity level is not there, don't promote them just because they have been working there since birth.

It is okay. Some people really like others hate it. It depends on how you view things.

I have been working at Regency Theatres

    Pros

Free movie tickets for the employees. Free soda and popcorn when your on break.

    Cons

There is not very much opportunity for advancement. Not the companies fault people just never quit.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Trust your employees more instead of believing everything the crazy customers make up.
