I have been working at Regions Financial part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Daily interaction with customers that soon become like family, bonuses if you reach your referral quota, and extensive, all inclusive, paid training for all positions.

    Cons

Stressful sales environment, cultures vary between branches, no benefits/ time off for part-time employees, and nearly impossible to get the time off you really want if you're full time. They claim to have a good work/ life balance but this really depends on your branch manager. Customers have a tendency to not fully understand their account's fee schedules and this leads to unhappy customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Branch Managers- Be more involved with the customers and don't hide in your office all day. Also, be mindful that your time off really affects others in the branch. We need you there!

Upper Management- Stop punishing subordinates for speaking their opinions and offer more help/ advice when it comes to branch reviews and audits.

    I worked at Regions Financial

    Pros

I enjoyed working with the customers and getting to know everyone. They are very good at keeping up with your training and focusing in how it can help you do your job.

    Cons

The management didn't take control of situations letting them just get worse. Some people are overworked while others just get to cruse through without much thought to others.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better leadership and to not be afraid to reprimand people when they are not pulling their weight.

    Pros

Corporation seems to actually care about there employees. Pay scale is good. Benefits are great.

    Cons

Sales goals are lofty and products are average. Charge fees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The sales staff would be able to reach goals if we didn't charge so much in fees and were more competitive on rates.
