Current Employee – been working at Regus full-time for less than a year
Pros – No day is the same- after several years in a sales role out in the field - I yearned to expand my horizons in operations - this role is ideal for me as I get a great blend of sales and operations daily- I also have a team to manage- you get the experience of being a business owner - P&L's, budgets, customer service, etc. Its a very demanding position as you are pulled in a variety of directions daily, that you have to be in the ON MODE all day, but very fulfilling. without being too corny, its a very rewarding position - I can say that after a brief district sales position with another fortune 500 payroll company, I couldn't have made a better decision to come on board with Regus.
Cons – Although when I started the length of training was short (one week with a tenured CM and then put into my own center) , they have since revamped that portion of the on boarding experience for all new GM's, ASM's so that they spend a weeks within other centers with GM's to get a more well rounded training experience -
Advice to Senior Management – try to get our software programs more streamlined..

Current Employee – been working at Regus full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – This is a great place to network, meet new people and learn. There are so many tools and system that I have learned from phone programming to IT! The local management at the centers that I have worked at have always been GREAT and extremely supportive, generous and respectful of everyone (sometimes when they shouldn't have been)!! Hope to stay on with Regus for many, many years to come.
Cons – With Phoenix being so spread out, it is hard to find a center that is close to home.
Advice to Senior Management – More direct communication with ALL levels of employees. Provide the ability for lower level employees to get together quarterly to discuss problems, issues, great work and ideas!!! We have a lot to offer the company as well and often are overlooked.

Former Employee – worked at Regus
Pros – Good people, large company with great benefits, opportunities for growth. The best thing about the company is definitely some of the talent that they bring in, and in Chicago some very caring management.
Cons – At times, better and more consistent communication within such a large organization becomes very critical, both from the top of the organization downward, and vice versa.

Current Employee – been working at Regus
Pros – Fast paced company that pushes you to the limit of your capabilities as an employee. Mid Level leadership is excellent and are some of the most talented and intelligent people I have ever worked amongst.
Cons – Lack of communication amongst Senior Exec Leadership. Everyone seems to have their own agenda and not aligned to a true global collaboration or objective. This leads to constant changes, make it very difficult to keep up with the next big product, process or push.

Current Employee – been working at Regus
Pros – -Benefits are great!
-Team Members start accruing time off immediately, plus we get paid and floating holidays
-Endless opportunities to learn more
-Flexibility
-You never do the same routine daily!
I've been with Regus for 14 years and through that time I've had the opportunity to see many centers, work many different positions, attend to global conference (Orlando & Paris). I truly enjoy helping new hires expand their knowledge and assist with their careers. My clients are wonderful and I enjoy hearing them say we are here because of you and your team. I feel great each day knowing and feeling like I made a difference and accomplished something. Regus takes care of their employees.
Cons – -Cons for some would be too much change, but I think that is what keeps work interesting. Change is everywhere and 9 times out of 10 if a change comes that doesn't work it will change again.
-I would like to see more power given back to the centers. I don't have the same feeling of ownership I once had.
-Splitting sales and ops 18 months ago was not the best move for small cities.
- Running centers with 3 employees can be difficult during vacations etc…
-Sometimes the explanation of why we are doing something is not clear.
-Wish there were more opportunities locally.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your teams in the centers.
Corporate needs to work in centers more so that they can be reminded of how they operate prior to rolling our new initiatives.
I appreciate you and Thank you go a long way!

Current Employee – been working at Regus
Pros – However I find that my immediate manager is great - he communicates with us daily, requires a lot from us but gives good feedback (both negative and positive) and is always available when we need him. He keeps us on our toes but listens if we are having problems.
I feel pretty secure in my position -- even though they have had a lot of lay offs recently I feel like they've whittled us down to the necessary positions and most of us who are left feel pretty secure.
So I don't think that I can say much about Regus across the board. As with any world-wide company, reading these reviews will give you some insight into how corporate decisions trickle down to the lower eschelons (Receptionists, CSRs, OMs, CMs) but how you will enjoy your everday working environment will depend on the people that surround you.
Cons – In my area of the country, there are a variety of Regus centers. Some employees love it, others are overworked and stressed out. It really depends on how busy your center is, if you're given enough staff to cover the work and if your immediate managers are good people. My center is not as busy as others, but there's only 2 of us here so it can get really busy and hectic depending on the day and if any problems have come up (internet down, heating issues, multiple meeting rooms in use).
I believe I could get more money elsewhere doing something similar (but see above).
Advice to Senior Management – Stop changing the bonus policy and bring back yearly raises, even if it is just a .50. Give some of us something to work towards.

Former Employee – worked at Regus
Pros – I found that management recognized my strengths and were supportive of my efforts to learn and grow. Ongoing training was made available to me which allowed me to feel satisfied in the position that I was constantly challenged and at the same time made me a more valuable employee to the company. I had the opportunity
Cons – The down side is to working at HQ is that I didn't feel a very strong connection with any of the other colleagues other than those in management. Employee morale amongst the staff was sometimes low. Some of the staff didn't feel valued as employees.
Advice to Senior Management – Have the utmost respect for your clients and employees, listen to their ideas, wishes, needs.

Former Employee – worked at Regus full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Very good experience if you are willing to put in the hard work, it served me as the perfect foundation and education to climb the corporate ladder.
Cons – Long hours required, some mandatory unpaid overtime. Lacking professional upper management at times. Ridiculous sales targets for all sales team members, which 99% of the time do not get honored or paid out and targets always increased without inquiries increasing.
Advice to Senior Management – Value the right people who have a passion for this company, retain these staff. Cut out people who are taking your company for a ride. These people are easier to spot then you think!!! Trust your experienced staff members when they are offering advice on the state of your company even if they might be lower in the ranks than you, it may work in your favor. Listen to your clients needs and reasonably comply.
