    Pros

Sound business; financial solutions diversification; CEO is innovative; new functional management helps bring a growing RGA into modern day operations

    Cons

US market decline; Disfunction on the executive team; old guard desperate to protect old guard; disrespect for new talent

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Unify please. Change is necessary. Don't be blind to the old guard resistance below you

    Pros

Great people. Best people I have ever worked with. Some of the top employees i've ever seen. They have an excellent training program and actually want to invest in their employees.

    Cons

Too much of a cubicle atmosphere. It's great to be able to go to any of your team's areas but at the same time, you feel as though you are cooped up in your corner for the majority of the time.

    Pros

RGA has been a great company for the most part to work for. There are a lot of opportunities and the benefits are comparable, if not better, than other companies.

    Cons

At times it can feel like you are a small fish in a big pond.

    Pros

Great company to work for. Lots of benefits.

    Cons

Constantly in classes and meetings for this department. Not able to spend enough time on actual work. Managers could use training. Don't have enough time to manage employees since they are in constant meetings. Currently high turnover of employees due to poor management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on the people that help you obtain your goals. Cut out meetings and value your employees. Stop playing favorites. Or else provide another layer of management.

    Pros

    Cons

Can't think of any right now. I would generally like the financial services sector to have a more fun workplace like google and other tech companies.
