    Pros

Hours, office location, non-stressful environment, good foot in door to CRE industry, and overall friendly people

    Cons

Little to no feedback taken by HR in regards to employees outside high ranking, impossible to get promoted unless you stay at the company for decades

    Advice to Management

Promote an environment which fosters career growth, pay your analysts more

Fine place to work until they change your job description and you're doing phone surveys with apartment owners.

    Pros

Nice people. Great benefits. Reasonable hours.

    Cons

Some job titles and descriptions can be misleading. I was told I would strictly be doing internet research, and then 4 months in they had me calling apartment buildings doing phone surveys. Found a new job shortly after because I wasn't too keen on pestering apartment owners who had no desire to talk to me.

    Pros

Nice group of people, good niche product. Excellent name recognition due to being in a relatively non-competitive space.

    Cons

As a small company not many places you can go, also non-existent marketing support. No communication between sales and product.

    Advice to Management

    Market your best product.

    Pros

Pluses include your co-workers, the flexibility in your work hours, mostly good managers. The ability to transition from department if you are inclined. This is a small company (<150) so you are limited in movement.

    Cons

The senior management is falling behind the competition which can make outside-facing roles increasingly challenging (e.g. sales). Overall management can be myopic with some exceptions. This will not be a place to learn from your superiors but quite possibly from your peers.

    Advice to Management

Do away with tenured senior people. If someone isn't doing there job, let them go. Either promote from within or get someone new to do the job. Look at what is really changing in your client base. This should be a wake up call for the challenges you will face ahead if you don't start acting like a public company and not a private venture (which you no longer are).

    Pros

The people are very nice, the office location is amazing.

    Cons

The work becomes mind numbing and its not challenging. There is a very limited possibility of growth, this is a very small company so what do you expect? I would say if your not in sales you shouldn't stay here for more than 2 years.

    Advice to Management

Stop being cheap with the bonuses everybody works very hard and deserves them!
