    Reis review

    Account Manager (Current Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsNice group of people, good niche product. Excellent name recognition due to being in a relatively non-competitive space.

ConsAs a small company not many places you can go, also non-existent marketing support. No communication between sales and product.

Advice to Senior ManagementMarket your best product.

Reis is overall a good place to work but pay is sub-par.

    Employee (Current Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsPluses include your co-workers, the flexibility in your work hours, mostly good managers. The ability to transition from department if you are inclined. This is a small company (<150) so you are limited in movement.

ConsThe senior management is falling behind the competition which can make outside-facing roles increasingly challenging (e.g. sales). Overall management can be myopic with some exceptions. This will not be a place to learn from your superiors but quite possibly from your peers.

Advice to Senior ManagementDo away with tenured senior people. If someone isn't doing there job, let them go. Either promote from within or get someone new to do the job. Look at what is really changing in your client base. This should be a wake up call for the challenges you will face ahead if you don't start acting like a public company and not a private venture (which you no longer are).

    Limited growth

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThe people are very nice, the office location is amazing.

ConsThe work becomes mind numbing and its not challenging. There is a very limited possibility of growth, this is a very small company so what do you expect? I would say if your not in sales you shouldn't stay here for more than 2 years.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop being cheap with the bonuses everybody works very hard and deserves them!

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
