    Pros

    The pay and 70% of customers are enjoyable. Coworkers become closer than co workers. Your with them so much they are your family from home.

    Cons

    Upper Management will lie and promise advancement in order to keep you from taking better opportunities. They rarely appreciate good employees. Overlook performance and promote who they are buddy buddy with. Get it in writing. That's all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Go back to your core values. Improve the quality of life of your coworkers and customers, then you will not have such a turn over, in both ways. Stop seeing dollar signs and appreciate your customers. Satisfied customers will return and disgruntled customers will go to your competitors. With 3000 stores you could give them better deals and treat them with respect.

    Pros

    There was a lot of advancement opportunity. The job keeps you busy and stays interesting. Never doing the same thing for too long. There was always relocation opportunity for those willing to move.

    Cons

    The home work balance wasn't very good. Long hours and working every Sunday.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop playing favoritism when it comes to promotions. Be careful who your district managers are. It's one of the most corrupt positions in the company. Let people's numbers speak not how much you like them.

    Pros

    alot of ot.....you get a whole lot of freedom on the road while driving. get to met so many new people .if you like driving for long periods of time this is ideal. this is simply one of the best jobs i ever worked for.

    Cons

    merchandise is cheap and easy to scratch.They will try to write you up if you damage merchandise that's so frail. i had a boss who was down your throat if you didn't finish in the time allotted i had to deliver a whole bedroom set and TV set and stand by myself and he called me like 15 mins after i got their and was down my throat because i didn't finish fast enough i had to go up 3 flights of stairs carrying the load. They will keep you at times way over the time your supposed to go home. MANAGER GOT ANGRY AT ME AND SAID YOU WILL COME IN TO WORK WHEN I SAY SO....FELT LIKE A SLAVE. BUT OTHER THAN HIS PANIC ATTACK HE WAS PRETTY COOL

    THE PAY SHOULD BE A LITTLE BIT MORE FOR THE WORK CONDITIONS THAT YOUR WORKERS HAVE TO FACE.

    Pros

    It was nice knowing I'd always get overtime. Very relaxed setting as long as your route was properly managed.

    Cons

    Mandatory Saturday shifts as it's the busiest day. Promotions only come from the store manager, if you don't have a good relationship (or if someone else has a better one) you'll be passed over. If you have an already had route when you start it's tough to get it good again.

    Decent pay
    Good workout (you will be making deliveries constantly)
    Great benefits, and plenty of vacation time as the time goes on.
    Great learning material on how appliances, tvs and computers work.

    Cons

    Long hours. This is a retail store, open from 10-7 almost everyday. You will feel as if you live at work. Average per week is 45.
    Poor management, at least at the store I worked at. Not making good calls with who to rent to, etc.

    Pay for performance. Top performers are recognized & rewarded. Great advancement opportunities. Competitive compensation. Full range of benefits. Expectations are fair & realistic.

    Cons

    Business demands can be challenging with current staffing model/hours model. Most Team Members complain about the long hours. Customer base presents a challenging environment.
