    Awful.just really awful

    Anonymous (Former Employee)

ProsPaycheck deposited regularly and essp is ok....just ok

ConsSenior leadership resembled feces throwing gorillas in nice suits. But if you like to engage in monosyllabic dialogue with greedy, valueless clownish thugs, then call this place home. Otherwise avoid at all costs this poisonous environment.

    Advice to Senior ManagementResign.

    Management.....more like warden

    Billing Coordinator (Former Employee)
    Salt Lake City, UT

Prosworking directly with clients internally and externally

ConsThe company lacks communication entirely, this is why a majority of customers leave as well, no one is on the same page. There is no room for growth unless you have a degree (knowledge base or experience doesn't count) or are friends or family of someone already in management They pay very poorly and the average increase yearly is around $.16 if you are even given one. You are micro-managed at all times and in all honesty the office atmosphere is that of a kindergarten class. Everyone blames each other for problems (including management) instead of working together to fix issues. If you enjoy gossip, this is definitely the place for you. And don't forget being talked down to by management as if you are a child being punished. Respect is not a factor here. All in all, the Salt Lake City office is summed up as a HUGE stress and has the ability to break a person down both physically and mentally.

Advice to Senior ManagementCommunicate with your employees. Treat them with respect, they are not your children, they are your peers. Without a dedicated team you have nothing. A team drives a company or department to success, not your title and ego. Try putting yourself in your employees shoes, would like like to be degraded? I don't think so.

Commercial and Industrial Account management.....more like baby sitting

    Account Manager (Former Employee)
    Commerce City, CO

    ProsThe pay was above average

ConsYou basically apologized all day for the drivers missing pickups, the phone would not stop ringing with people complaining about how bad this service was. Also billing questions about why their bill would go up by 25% 9 months after signing a 3 year contract. It's total extortion as they try to hold you to the contract. It appears that organized crime hasn't gotten to far away from the garbage business. Horrible work environment in an office for 10+ hours a day, too hot and then too cold. Not very friendly employees and the training is horrible. You will spend weeks doing online training and then 3 days in phoenix only to realize that everything you were taught was completely useless when it came to the performance of the company and it's operations staff. Way to paperwork heavy too. Still manually filling out forms and trying to figure out the right codes. You will get buried in paperwork.

Advice to Senior Managementchange your "on-boarding" program to reflect more of the realistic day to day activities of the Account Manager. Hire sales managers that will actually help train people instead of walking around the office all day and socializing and trying to be the funny guy. You better be a good butt kisser or you are on the outside looking in.

The worst place I ever worked

    Software Developer (Current Employee)
    Phoenix, AZ

ProsA salary is above the average

ConsA typical "New York" style management. Primitive, arrogant people treating employees like slaves. The problem of this company is multitude of managers that simply could not make it in New York. They blame everybody for they failure. This makes it a terrible place to work.

Advice to Senior ManagementResign, there is no chance you ever succeed in anything.

Wasted 6 years at this company.

    Quality Assurance (Former Employee)
    Phoenix, AZ

ProsThe building is in a nice location with plenty of places to eat lunch.

ConsUnless you are going in as a consultant, don't waste your time. There are groups of consultants that have been there for years. They are truly running the organization. Management can't hire them as they are too expensive, can't get rid of them because they hold all the key positions. For this reason as an employee you can count on zero chance of advancement and close to zero raise.

Advice to Senior ManagementEducate yourself on how to treat your employees better than the hoards of contractors that you utilize. Employee morale would Improve if you would treat them with the same respect you give to the contracting groups. Trim the middle managers. Managers shouldn't outnumber the employees. A manager should be able to manage more than one to two employees.

    Florida Republic Services Managment Operations

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsSalarys are generally average or better

ConsInconsistent Management Focuses and Platforms that are hampering the growth and customer service. Republic's Florida Operations is handicapped by many regional managment problems that are threatening to reduce the company's growth and market share in the Florida Market.

ConsUpper management is horrible, they will use you and then when they are done with you they will just fire you and make up a lie, management blames any mistake they make on fellow employees to throw them under the bus, anything to save themselves, run down place, long hours, complain they have no money and need to cut hours, play favors,
