    Pros

The casual dress code and laid-back culture is great! The vacation policy is also a plus; it increases with each year with the company. There are always fun events going around the office, and coworkers are a blast.

    Cons

Career growth and development tracks are lacking. It appears business tactics are done "just because" and based on "want" rather than statistics and need. Major tools are internally developed and are in serious need of upgrades.

    Advice to Management

Consider better planning, not only for the business, but for employee growth.

    Pros

Integrity, assets, longevity - top of the market research sampling heap - everyone trying to nip at their heels but not making many inroads, the basic product is pretty solid. Improved leadership - it was never terrible, but just not always clear on the future. Personable atmosphere and fun/young culture, you need to have your head on straight and be a team player no matter what, there's always politics but the atmosphere is too fast paced for petty b.s. to matter much - it's good and keeps the drama to a minimum. The hours are long but you can work from home on a regular basis depending on your position.

    Cons

Company is still playing catch-up on the technology side, but there is hope. Corporate board plays with the compensation structure every year...and each year the bar gets raised higher, even if your performance is exemplary it may be hard to make the same $$ as you did the prior year, the health plan and costs go up (and coverage gets worse), no room for employee ownership/options. Growing pains - been going on for a while but as company grows there continue to be politics/territory issues, and increasingly more administrative-type work which could be addressed via better tech solutions. Neutral on career development, can be difficult to get a promotion. If you're thinking of working here, get what you want up front and do not settle, it will be next to impossible to make up that lost ground. When terminating employees, HR's approach is ruthless. The working conditions outside the US are considerably better, company has >20 offices in other countries.

    Advice to Management

It's a good place to work, not a great place to work. Keep up the good work, but share the love.

    Pros

High energy work environment. Company is well positioned in a very competitive market. Casual when not customer facing. Many great people to work with. Company has many initiatives in place for future growth. Great place to cut your teeth on corporate consumer research. Several core technologies to work with. Open team environment.

    Cons

Worldwide 24/7 operations equal very long days and mandatory weekends. Office politics and over the top favoritism for day and night game play. Compensation is average. Easy to get buried in work. Be prepared to have your higher profile completes moved to a favorite (or you could be the favorite). Size of operation make it difficult to make any significant impact unless you're at the top of your game (not really a con but a difficult fact to know).

    Pros

Still one of the top panels in the industry for B2B work in the US.

    Cons

While Research Now is still a market leader in some areas, they no longer provide a higher quality product/panel that is worth the premium price point in many instances. They consistently seem to let talented employees walk out the door, or even seem to force employees to leave on their own by making their situations unbearable or workload unmanageable. They seem to be out of touch with the needs and demands of their strongest asset, it's employees. They also make decisions that are very reactive in nature, versus proactively making changes to positively impact it's employees, clients, etc.

    Advice to Management

stop letting good people walk away from the company or at least fight to keep them.

    Pros

Easygoing work environment, free soda, special events occasionally. Most people here are very nice and are always willing to help.

    Cons

If you want a promotion you have to point out everything good you've done constantly, and practically beat a VPs door down to get any headway whatsoever. Senior management is commonly out of touch with the ground level, and tend to never listen to what junior staff say go right or wrong. HR department is completely out of touch with the rest of the company as well.

    Advice to Management

The people under you are invaluable in understanding market movements. A report helps, but getting a first person perspective will solidify the data you already have. Treat entry level folks trying to work their way up with more dignity, instead of finding every way to undercut them for the bottom line.
