“Decent shop, better opportunities than most, but likely to crash.”
I worked at Resolute
Pros – Good local MS partner, more interesting work than the typical ankle-biter. They have been successful at finding a decent customer base and some interesting niches to delivery in.
Cons – Management doesn't really know how to run a consulting business. Running low on capital and then knee-jerk course corrections have been common. The company has funded as series of product efforts over time that are just hopeless pipe dreams. It's not 2000, there isn't pot o gold at the end of the rainbow. They've also kept deadwood around at the senior ranks for a long time and then, worse yet, gone across the lake and added even more!
Advice to Senior Management – Learn to manage your P&L, lose the product dreams.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
