Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in London, England (UK)
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in London, England (UK)

I worked at Rexam full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Rexam are highly professional in can making with some world class engineering and focus on LEAN Six Sigma which makes them extremely productive and gives the opportunity to develop leading edge experience in these fields.
The workforce in beverage can plants are well paid with above market fringe benefits resulting in low turnover, but with an ageing demographic

    Cons

The corporate PLC Headquarters in Millbank London is a different story. It has been a revolving door over the last six years with initiatives such as 'Rexam Way' and the buildup of the Plastics Sector stopping suddenly, going into reverse and disbanding. So if you're joining as part of a new initiative then beware that you are not just flavour of the month- check for long term commitment

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There aren't many British manufacturers left - we understand the challenging environment. CEO and CFO seemed to have a problem trusting their senior team and this filtered through the leadership

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
