I worked at Reynolds and Reynolds

    Pros

The pay is very good compared to other part time jobs and I was able to basically make my own schedule whenever I wanted.

    Cons

I was a Repair Tech and due to the job specification, I worked on the same product over and over again which became dull after a while.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Given the overall experience I had and the fact that I left due to a better opportunity, I would say there isn't much that could have been improved. However, I would suggest giving employees in the Repair Center to have the option to rotate what product they are working on. Personally, if I had the opportunity to gain more experience with different processes, I may have stayed longer.

I have been working at Reynolds and Reynolds part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

work with hours, great pay for college student, it has prepared me for the real world

    Cons

no tabacco policy, other departments work way harder and get the same amount of pay as people who sit all day and don't do near the work as some department do

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

make the load balance between departments more even. i work my butt
off when other department sit around, and we get paid the same

I have been working at Reynolds and Reynolds full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Been there a couple years and I can't complain too much about it. It is a pretty young place to work and they give you great training for anything that you find yourself doing. Pay doesn't start great but is livable and does eventually get to a decent spot. Great leagues for sports and card games.

    Cons

Leadership has an "older" method of doing things, and it does draw projects out longer than it should, however it does give you experience with large organizational structures. Having others leave around you and seeing what they are paid does leave you wondering what you are actually worth.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start salaries higher and you will keep good employees longer.

I have been working at Reynolds and Reynolds as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

Very kind to interns. Learn how to use new software. On the Job training. Fun potlucks. Dress policy is not too strict for interns.

    Cons

Sometimes things can get backed up and you are working on many things simultaneously. Hard to say anything as I only did intern work.

    Pros

Gym is great. Great managers and mentoring all around. The corporate culture is very professional, but, that leads to many loving their job.

    Cons

It is the most Republican centered company I literally could have ever imagined. So much so that they talked about the coming debt crisis in a company wide address. Fox News on every TV
