I worked at Rockwell Automation full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good people, good product., good values.

    Cons

Archaic, still using many legacy software products, cannot see the forest through the trees, resulting in HUGE inefficiencies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keeping looking for how to improve; don't just keep repeating old and bad operational and management mistakes.

Former Employee - Tester, Assembly, Material Handler in Mequon, WI

I worked at Rockwell Automation as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

some of the people really tried to work and encourage me. I learned alot about variious aspects of Material Handling,Shipping,Assembly, and Testing. The Engineers were very helpful, and taught me alot about the company, and the Manufacturing process.

    Cons

Was not able to connect with the right people to get placed permanently. Could have used more guidance in finding the right direction.

    I worked at Rockwell Automation

    Pros

    Flexible work schedule
Work is pretty much straightforward every day
    company culture is strong
    teamwork is highly recommended
Some management relate well to employees

    Cons

    Some management play favorites
Management doesn't take too kindly on employee solutions
    unfair compensation structure (changed)
changes always came with little to no warning

Listen to employees more than management, who work upstairs. Sometimes the employees on the ground may have a workable short-term (or long-term) solution.
