    This particular position doesn't have a path to move up in the company. You have no choice but to spend 5 or more years of your career as a field service engineer.

    Rockwell offers great pay and benefits. Most co-workers are nice and helpful.

    Cons

    IT support is so bad most try to solve their own issues before calling. Folks in charge of systems implementation do not listen to field office input before rolling out new programs causing reduced productivity.

    Company is highly ethical
    The company has many highly talented individuals

    Like any big corporation, re-orgs happen all the time - in the good times and bad
    Rockwell has a full automation portfolio but lacks other power products such as transformers, switchgear, etc. which can make it hard to win jobs
