    Pros

The culture is laid back and fun. You get to eat candy at work. You make sweets all day.

    Cons

You wil get sick of chocolate after you've put on a few pounds. You can get pretty board in the off season. Not a career job.

    Advice to Management

Lead by example- if you work hard, so will the underdogs

    Pros

Free chocolate. And a pay check every other week.

    Cons

Extremely unorganized. Couldn't get a weekly schedule out by an appropriate day in advance. And when I would arrive for my shift, more than half the time no one knew what I was supposed to be working on that day.

  3. Rewarding job, not for the career minded.

    Pros

Fast pace work environment, working with chocolate, flexible schedule. The company itself is comprised of genuine and friendly people.

    Cons

Low wages, high work demands, no real opportunity for career growth, lack of timely support from corporate.

    Advice to Management

The left hand doesn't always know what the right hand is doing. Need more brand exposure and don't rely so much on franchisees to do that work for them. Don't be so reluctant to change, Innovate for goodness sake.

    Pros

Free chocolate, learn new things, Fun mall atmosphere, I got acknowledged by other store managers and got a lot of job offerings

    Cons

Diabetes, Management, People that have worked their for years treat you like they're the boss, Bossy people, always looking for something to criticize you, small store so employees are constantly keeping a eye on you

    Advice to Management

Instead of focusing on negative things, it would be nice if you'd acknowledge someone for what they've done right... Like ***Achieving store sales

    Pros

It was fun! People are happy when you sell them chocolate, and are generally very interested, and not very cranky. And when they are, it's ridiculous so you don't care, really.

    Cons

The managers and owners didn't actually know anything about the business. The night supervisor and myself and the girls, seemed to be the only ones who knew what was up.

    Advice to Management

Stop treating the franchises like crap.
