    Pros

    Using consice instructions, operating proceedures and teamwork are a crutial reason for the success of rolls royce corporation and the morale of its employees.

    Cons

    Management often asks employees at rolls royce to ignore work guidelines and quality in order to complete customer orders in a more timely manner, jeopordizing adherence to specifications, and endangering employment and customer satisfaction, creating scrap and customer returns.

    Advice to Management

    listen to your employees, take their ideas in regards to safety, manufacturing and customer satisfaction. reword employees with respect and understanding, working as a team to satisfy both employee and company goals.

    Slow project timeline with very little innovation. Environment could be political at times.

    Too many managers, unwilling to change, calls everything gravity to wash their hands of problems

    To make the 380 FTE reduction number by June of next year, eliminate managers that manage less than 15 people.

    Pros

    Great benefits, good pay, great product and exciting industry. Lots of opportunity to learn.

    Cons

    Unfortunately, government contracts make it difficult to live up to company expectations at the same time. Goals are unrealistic.

    Advice to Management

    Recognize the real talents at the organizations, do what you must to motivate and retain them. Let go of the dead weight, and good ol' boy wagon riders.

    Pros

    Great people to work with and all have positive mindsets towards their job and overall goals for the company.

    Cons

    Indecisiveness by executive management. No bonuses given to employees for several years who have made great strides in cost reduction.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to believe in your people. Support them with dealing with internal and external quality management problems. Develop internal quality controls and procedures that prevent overloading of work for various groups that have to deal with supplier performance.
