I have been working at Rosetta Stone part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Easy and enjoyable meeting people from around the world.

    Cons

Poor hours. Usually 3am-7am. They will not allow you to go over 30 hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Incentivize your coaches with yearly pay increases.

I have been working at Rosetta Stone

    Pros

You work on your own time. The pay was great for a remote position. Company parties and meet ups were nicely done. They emphasize employee satisfaction.

    Cons

A little too "rah rah" for me. Supervisory positions given to those who are in certain cities as opposed to experience. I don't know why. The work was a little boring if you weren't teaching classes (they had another program reflex that I believe is going defunct). No opportunity for growth in this position.

I have been working at Rosetta Stone full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Benefits, office, some senior leadership, possibilities for future success. Pay is on par with market and there is a great open door policy for the executive team.

    Cons

Future is uncertain with product enhancements and moving away from CDs to mobile, web and kids products. Hopefully we can deliver against our goals and profit from the success.

I worked at Rosetta Stone full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Big enough to provide some level of stability but small enough that what you do can make a difference. Smart group of people, pleasant working environment

    Cons

Some managers are old school. And while they will talk about professional development depending on your department there is a good chance nothing will be done to make sure it happens as there is always something going on that puts your professional development on the back burner.
