    Free prizes
    Chances to shop on line
    9-5 hours

    Cons

    No bonus plan

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management has a done a exceptional job connecting with the average staffing consultant. 9-5'er High salary seekers over potential in bonuses. Corporate has developed a exceptional way to show employees self worth with a MVV, while they drain them out the back on a compensation plan. Beach houses on Malibu and court side basketball tickets don't come cheap. Sad the only employees making a good living have the same last name. Pss, every company has a MVV.

I have been working at Roth Staffing

    Pros

friendly staff and pay is always there

    Cons

always says "this is temp to hire" even when they are well aware that it is usually helping out due to a vacation or employee out sick.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Return calls, market more. I have been available for employment but was told by receptionist that my calls are not being returned because they have no work for me. I have been with you all since Feb. 2014 but you offer me less pay. I started at 15-16 per/hr but no you only pay me 12 an hr.

I worked at Roth Staffing full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Company values and culture. Support good causes and always roll out new initiative for non-profits.

    Cons

Staffing industry is tough but low compensation and Micromanagement doesn't help. Unrealistic goals and expectations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Too many layers of management. Listen to your employees in the field.

I have been working at Roth Staffing as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

Very nice office staff. Always say they are ready to help you.

    Cons

Don't make any progress on helping you find full-time employment (even if your positions are listed as temp to perm). Horrible benefits (just the minimum to cover the ACA) with no company contribution. They make half your hourly salary in commission.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please look out for the best interest of your Ambassadors, not just yourselves. Remember that tomorrow, I may come to you as a client company.

I have been working at Roth Staffing full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Training solid, some coworkers are excellent

    Cons

Management is HORRIBLE, do not focus on production but on meetings. Roth pits their employees against one another so back stabbing is very common place. All surveys are to be filled out by every member of the office or branches do not meet metrics. Favoritism with management is there only strategy. They have no respect for their "ambassadors" and treat them awful.. Branches encouraged not to let light industrial candidates be in waiting room with accounting and finance candidates. Local and Regional management do not know or believe in the MVV.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire all Management above branch managers and hire people who believe in your MVV. Roth is a great company, this region is far from it!!

More interested in the awards they win than helping their existing coworkers succeed.

I have been working at Roth Staffing

    Pros

Great people with big hearts working extremely hard to be successful. The people that work in the branch operations believe that we are in business to make life better for the people we serve. It isn't about making money it's about making a difference

    Cons

Doesn't matter how hard you are working; If the dollars aren't there than you are viewed as incompetent. Very good at telling you what to do but they have no idea how difficult the job actually is and they don't care. As long as you are making money for them all is good.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When you have struggling employees help them to succeed rather than throw them out with the bath water. Believing in people and helping them to turn the tides will create more loyalty than you could ever imagine.

I have been working at Roth Staffing as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

They will send you out to work because it makes them money.

    Cons

You have to ask for a reasonable wage.
Their employee benefits are not good.
Benefits are hard to attain, benefit information is hard to obtain. You can ask Adams & Martin Group, San Francisco for the information over and over again; they state its in the mail, and it never comes. They do not disclose benefit information clearly or fully.

I have been working at Roth Staffing part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

They helped me find two jobs so I was working for two full years.

    Cons

I was only working part time and temporary for both positions. I had told my recruiter that I needed a full time and permanent position but she kept telling me that they didn't have anything like that. I felt that she didn't try her best to help me with my situation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I think they need to be a little more helpful and take into consideration what their clients are looking for in a job.

    Pros

Professional - Good attitude with employees.

    Cons

Not many jobs available. I dont think their goal is to get as many people employed to help the unemployment rate. I think its based more on their commissions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Should have main focus as keeping your clients employed (equally) give them all of them opportunities instead of just focusing on commissions - and having certain favorites to give job opportunities to - there are a lot of willing and able people wanting to work. How Are you contributing to that?
