    Pros

Very very nice people and work environment. Well paid and good benefit. Can esaily get exposed to different functions of the firm and many career opportunities.

    Cons

There are really not much downside. Depends what kind of company culture/work environment you like, you do not usually get a lot of pressure working at RBC.

    Advice to Management

It could potentially be nice to have more compeititve and fast-paced values added to the firm to inspire people improve/move forward in a faster pace.

I have been working at Royal Bank of Canada full-time

    Pros

Great experience with my wealth management team. Highly efficient with revenue and continuing to grow. The partners made the work environment as comfortable as possible and the hours were not bad. I personally stayed an hour after my leaving time in order to keep a leg up on my work.

    Cons

I cannot really comment on a poor experience with my time at RBC. The pay is pretty standard for the position I was in, however, one may look for a bit more compensation depending on the level of experience a person has within the given position. I was straight out of school, therefore had very little experience.

    Pros

Work/life balance, competitive compensation, company values, high integrity within the financial services industry, opportunity for personal growth, accessible corporate structure

    Cons

While pay is competitive, RBC is very slow to promote employees. There are not title promotions. Additionally, RBC is very slow to adapt to the changing market environment.

    Advice to Management

I would advise them to adapt more quickly to changes in the market environment and allocate more resources to slower growing business units.
