    Pros

Many different lines of business, global company, ingrained culture that values employees. Incentives that are based on personal performance.

    Cons

Some managers are not forward thinking and hold back good performers believing that they have to "do their time" in the role before moving forward.

    Advice to Management

Be more flexible and promote star performers - take a more holistic view of the organization and not just your work unit.
