    Pros

There is so much to do in a cruise line that you will hardly ever find yourself with spare time. Whether it is finance, operations, logistics, new builds, there are always opportunities for improving the work being done and deliver results. Plus, it is always fun to deliver a great experience to our guests.

    Cons

Because of the fast paced environment, where loading and unloading passengers as quickly as possible is the key to success, work-life balance can take its toll.

    Advice to Management

As a company, Royal Caribbean needs to walk away from the blame environment. The change needs to go in the direction of psychological safety towards failure. This doesn't mean promoting failure, but rather making sure that when things are not going as planned, we feel safe enough to raise flags to make improvements. There is tons of literature around the subject and its benefits for businesses.
