    Pros

Challenging and deadline-driven. It was nice to be trusted with such a great deal of responsibility so early in my career. I got to travel a handful of times and enjoyed the people I worked with. Everyone is very sharp and goal-oriented.

    Cons

Hours can be long. Additionally, you can pigeonhole yourself into very specific fields of tax, which ultimately, I didn't feel was good for my career in the long run.

    Advice to Management

Management seems to overlook work/life balance and overall satisfaction of their employees in order to fulfill personal revenue goals, especially near the end of the year. The firm also seems to be very top-heavy, with a huge reliance on the staff.

    Pros

One of the few places where I've worked, and sh*t DOESNT roll down hill. The project managers make every problem their problem, and won't leave you hanging. It's also laid back, you're never pushed to get a job done faster. You're hours are consistent and they rarely have you work overtime. Which is nice if you have a life outside of work.

    Cons

Tools are usually old and not reliable. They are trying to fix this problem, but not as fast as they could. Also you only get 15 minute lunch break.

    Pros

Flexibility in work/life balance. Gym perks are great.

    Cons

Dress code is unnecessary. Attempting at being a big four. Could be a little less stressful around here and a little more open and friendly.

    Advice to Management

Ease up on the CPE/CEU hours and so many lengthy policy and procedures.

    Pros

Team environment, younger company, good corporate structure, and we also get all the resources needed to be effective at our jobs.

    Cons

The work can be boring and not very challenging at some points.
Hard to make good bonuses if your team isn't assigned the good projects.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to have more one on one time with the lower level employees. It would really help career develpoment.

    Pros

Competitive salary for entry-level job. Small regional office but very accommodating for desired work hours with the MyRyan program.

    Cons

MyRyan program truly depends on the mentality of your manager/director. Although in theory, setting your own hours and working from home is encouraged, it truly falls onto the expectations of your manager and the office environment he/she is trying to create.

    Pros

There is a ton of flexibility with hours and working from home. Bonuses can be sizable with successful teams.

    Cons

There isn't a lot of cooperation between teams. Another possible downside is that the overwhelming majority employees are conservative. It isn't really a pro or a con, but it is worth noting.

    Advice to Management

While having teams compete for business leads to some extremely successful teams, more collaboration might make the company more productive overall.
