Decent place to work

ProsI learned a lot from this company and the people working here are great. Most of the management are good at the technical/business decision making.

ConsSome people are over loaded with work. Management not appreciating their employees.

ProsAverage employees are great to work with, highly professional
Technically compentent
Exciting area of expertise (Lithium Ion battery systems for defence and space)

ConsPoor IT support, out of date and antiquated
Poor communications between senior staff and rest of employees
No real strategic vision at this time

Advice to Senior ManagementSkip mid-level management view of organization and talk to the operators.
Determine strategy before developing metrics arbitarily.
Communicate better with staff

ProsThe relationships created were great. Everyone there worked hard toward whatever the weekly goal was.

ConsPoor senior managment made very bad decisions daily. Most decisions required a ton of red tape and trying to get something done was very difficult

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't be afraid to eliminate poor preformers and set goals then hold people to them
