    Pros

Looking through some of these reviews, I really don't understand all of the negativity. The company is family owned so everyone is very close and can't do enough to help you. There are brilliant earning opportunities in the sales roles which always gives you targets to work towards. This also means they encourage their employees to work towards expanding their career path with SCC.

    Cons

I will admit the IT systems are slightly archaic, but it doesn't affect any of our work. The only thing it can affect is the communication during training

    Advice to Management

    maybe update the training systems

    Pros

Opportunities here appear to be what you make. If you are a shrinking violet you're not likely to get ahead. Those who do the best seem to be those who speak up and push themselves forward.

    Cons

The only way to truly get anything done is to go up and over. That is, to get your director on board and get them to have a word with the other director who will then tell their staff what is going to happen. Going direct to the person you need something from directly rarely appears to work.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your staff and your facilities. If you want to get and keep good quality people and expect them to make a nightmare commute every day at least make sure the place they work has got some perks and fringe benefits.

    Pros

You have the opportunity to get in contact with the latest technologies on the market.
If you want/ desire, you can learn almost anyting in the service desk/ support field, from administration to implementation, from software to hardware.

    Cons

The internal trainings are poor and they are based on the motto: learn as you go. Sometimes you find out about new projects in the day they go live. Poor documentation and escalation lines.
    Crowded room with poor AC.

    Advice to Management

Please look outside your office to see what is going on in the company. E-mails are not enough!

    Pros

Its a relatively young company and is still privately owned. The training is well organised.

    Cons

The pay is low, no bupa, no pension and no discounts.

    Advice to Management

Pay more, get better staff - get rid of the dead wood. They are unprofessional and make the company look bad.
