Cons – Difficult times to become an employee. Upper levels of management make decisions that place hardships on support personnel. Slow to make decisions.

Cons – Geographically dispersed. Difficult to implement change accross some 220 countries and territories

Advice to Senior Management – Business Process Re-engineering is untapped at SITA. The spreadsheets drive us crazy, there must be a better solution.

Cons – Leadership are clueless to what middle management are doing.

Advice to Senior Management – Get more involved and find out who the person is that is really working for you, you would be appauled when you dig down and find the truth. Listen to the employees on upwards feedback and take action.

Pros – Fantastic learning opportunities exist with acknowledgement of personnel

Cons – Constantly changing direction with difficulties noting in-sourcing versus out-sourcing of growth opportunities. Difficulty in obtaining compensation based on work efforts/tasks/praises, as average is often deemed across the board.

Matching funds on 401k up to 6%
Ample vacation time.
Laid back management relationship first name basis with sr level directors vp's etc.

Cons – Sales tends to promise first and ask questions later placing delivery people in difficult positions with the customers, which is then blamed on the delivery staff.
Customer satisfaction reviews are often confusing to customers with multiple lines of business.
You need to watch your back when working with some members of the Sales and management staff, when they are done patting you on the back and telling you how they are on your side, make sure they didn't leave a kick me sign there.

Advice to Senior Management – Pay closer attention to the folks in the trenches often they are pulling the weight for themselves and their managers.
