I worked at SKF USA full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Salaried employees are compensated time and a half for working over time. Excellent company benefits. Variety of health plans to choose from. Two weeks vacation after first year, three weeks after five years, four weeks after ten years. Two week shut down in July. Christmas shut down is around nine days. Holiday pay for all major holidays.

    Cons

Job training lacks structure. Mandatory over time can make for long days and weeks. Subject to be laid off when economy slows. I was laid off three times in eleven years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Add more structure to training. Give longer breaks.

    Pros

Great benefits with premium products. Have made several acquisitions in the past few years.

    Cons

The balance between marketing and engineering with the different divisions. Tons of potential if all the potential is harnessed.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Balance marketing/engineering
