I have been working at SRA International full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

SRA has a strong sense of culture and values and is truly committed to its customers and employees. Like many federal contractors, the company has been operating in a tough market for the last few years and, despite having to make some difficult decisions during that period, it seems that the company is now positioned well for the future. Collaboration at SRA is second to none.

    Cons

The benefits are good, although there have been some benefit reductions over the last few years. I don't think this is any different to the rest of the industry, however.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be straight with employees. We're all in it together.

Good people - doing the right thing.. been little rough but turning the corner.

    Cons

Got too big too fast... lost the "home feel" ... feels not much different than other big gov IT contractor now.

I worked at SRA International full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

SRA purchased the company where I worked prior to 2002. They did a great job of integrating us into the company after the purchase. I appreciated their values of honesty and excellent customer service. SRA had great benefits, training opportunities, and pay. I worked at the client's site and thoroughly enjoyed it. My managers kept me informed about what was happening at SRA and let me work fairly independently.

    Cons

Prior to the economic downturn, SRA worked hard to keep good employees when a contract ended. This was no longer the case in 2013.
