    Pros

Ability to work from home, nice co workers to work with.

    Cons

Training was NOT thorough enough. They throw you on the phones without ensuring you know what you are doing. They get rid of you if you don't know enough, because the training SUCKED!

    Advice to Management

Train your new hires more efficiently. Stop cramming them and expecting them to be efficient after one week of training. No real 'nesting' period given either!

    Pros

    Pais training, help as need

    Cons

They paid training is based on states minimum wage. So the pay will differ from each state. Minimum wage in Ga is $7.25 and that sucks.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Working from home so no commuting.

    Cons

Tenure does not matter. Supervisors have "favorites"........... Don't look at overall productivity and dedication over the time you invest with them.

    Advice to Management

Have Supervisors and those in Lead positions first experience what the "front line" or "Customer Care Representatives" experience and earn their way to those positions.

    Pros

    None I can think of.

    Cons

Extremely low pay. High stress. systems crashing all the time. Team Leaders and Managers who try to make you think you're working for a good company.

    Advice to Management

No advice. Management has ruined enough things already. They're not going to listen anyway.

  7. Unprofessional. Supervisors do not know there job so they can not help reps.

    Pros

It's a steady job. Hard to get fired from. The pros are very hard th o think of outside of a steady paycheck.

    Cons

Pay checks are horrible. No advancement team leads make a dollar more then reps. Leads never want to help if when they do it's attitude. Everyone does not get treated the same.

    Pros

The best reason for working at Sykes was location. Not many jobs in lakeland, fl but Sykes has a commutable location

    Cons

Its sad to say, this company cater's to very uneducated people. The employees are extremely ghetto, ignorant and rude. Management requires high school diploma and higher but I know people personally that don't have that and somehow manage to obtain employment

    Advice to Management

Management, there are so many things I could critize and critique. In my professional experience its mainly about who you know, not what you know.

    Pros

It's a nice place to work at if you have the patience to deal with unprofessional managers. Good income, plus incentives.

    Cons

No pay raise, health plan is too expensive, managers don't have a clue about what they're doing, too many side rules that are not in the employee handbook, no room for improvement.

    Advice to Management

This review is based off the Lakeland 1 site.

There's too much micro managing going on, and employees are being forced to work in an unprofessional environment. Never, have I worked in a company where my superiors did not know to do the work at hand. Your "TM's" need to be retrained.

    Pros

No outbound calls, relaxed atmosphere, can accumulate paid time off, very relaxed policy on tardies/absences

    Cons

Pay is minimal, no raises, deal with angry callers everyday

    Advice to Management

Stop gossiping about your own employees (what's the point of having an "Open Door Policy" then?). Give raises, not balloons!

    Cons

EVERYTHING! so unorganized. dont work here unless you want to be a slave and mistreated. they dont care about anyone but themselves not the employees. im telling you now DONT DO IT !

    Advice to Management

treat your employees better!!! why would someone want to work for a company that doesnt motivate them and could give two craps about whether or not you there or not .
