    Pros

Making connections with people from different parts of the us and bonus checks that is it

    Cons

No more raises once you hit $10, pushed to make sales on every single call even if the customer tells you that their significant other has died and you written up if you don't. It was just too stressful

    Advice to Management

    None

    I worked at SYKES

    Pros

Great pay and patience from trainers.

    Cons

Although I only had a temp position, the amount of training given was incredible low and not enough to handle the job of being able to edit credit card information for clients.

    Advice to Management

Increase the training in hiring temp employees, it can be very stressful having customers call in and knowing almost nothing at all what to do to help them. I understand that there will be some things that may be difficult, but your system is very difficult to work with.

  6. The training was well laid out. I enjoyed my job.

    Pros

They are a legitimate business. They do have Benefits ( medical, dental and vision ). The pay is not so great, but you do get your pay deposited into your bank account or by check via the mail.

    Cons

The program I worked on had changes all the time. Sometimes this made it difficult to know what was going on from one day to the next.

    Advice to Management

I do believe this transition could have been handled much more efficiently. This would have gone much smoother had the team leads been contacted and asked about the people on their team. Like the first 10 they would advise as good workers etc.

The pay is not great and no raise in pay. Not easy to Get to work if on the bus.

    Advice to Management

listen to employees and their opinion also with company find use wisely to give employees raises instead of unnecessary spending on building improvements.

Work 40 hours every week from 7am-3:30 am Sun-Thursday and I had Friday and Saturday off which was a great schedule made 9.00 a hour for training and after worker there for six months the pay goes up to 9.50 .

    Cons

Everybody who already had a set schedule , had to changed their schedule, you cant really move up to a high position if you wanted to which I didn't want to but I know people who did and never got anywhere

    Pros

-International environment -meeting good people - found good friends
-Good shifts - working hours are set and they stay so.
    -Permanent contracts -
    - learned many things

    Cons

Most of the times you are left in an unorganised caos. There is always a problem that no one is able to fix or they fix it after a long time. Poor salary compared to the amount of work given. Supervisors' time is used moslty to fill papers of nonsense statistics. Company treats you like a schoolboy, sendind tons of emails about the same basic rules of DO and DON'Ts. No bonuses, low salary for multilingual agents. Nonsense procedures(for calling sick you have to call twice a day even if for example have informed them that doctor wants you home for a week. You won't be paid if you fail to do so.)
I have never met someone (from agents to teamleaders) who's happy to work there.

    Advice to Management

Try to keep workers happy to work there and don't count on the fact that even if you lose someone you can easily replace the person. Management is on the side of the client and overload agents of work. No motivation or incentives to workers. Everything is based on numbers and statistics, which is fair for a certain extend, but you are obsessed with it. ( sometimes it is only about it: it is preferred that an employer is a disaster doing his job, but arrives on time everyday, than a person who work his best everyday but is one minute late at work).

    Pros

Laid back paid training opportunity for growth if your a hard worker and have some character. Great positive environment opportunity to work independently.

    Cons

low pay, poor technology tools and systems.
The systems of accountability are taxing signing out on a telephone even though your on an electronic punching (not on the phone) is'nt reliable. If im on the phone and your system on the phone says i'm not there when i am it's a hassle to get an email about time missed while the time clock shows i'm present is a hassle again software challenges and systems being faulty affects employer credibility with employees.

    Advice to Management

Update software on computers used to assist customer better, internet browsers ,windows operating system etc.
