    I have been working at SYKES full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    You get to work at home. You are never far from your family or from your job. The hours are flexible. You can pick up shifts, or turn down shifts. They pay on time. In my experience, the Coaches and Life Coach have been nothing but helpful. Chuck Sykes had a fabulous vision that is family friendly, environmentally sound and it is working! I am never treated like I am lesser-than my superiors. I look forward to going to work for once in my life. I can't compliment this company enough. They have changed my life. I am housebound, and I thought I would never work again. Look at me now!

    Cons

    The cons that I see listed are typical of any company. They are based off of personal preferences, and the people posting them would find these faults in any company, anyplace. Your job is what you make of it. Its up to you to decide that you are going to be happy. This also makes you a better employee. If you can't deal with the ins and outs of your current program, simply switch programs. Reach out to your Life Coach. That is what they do. The pay is low, I get that. But the bonuses are awesome and you do get tenure raises!
    Having said that, there are some room for improvement. The technical bugs do need some attention. Some programs would do well to implement a employee recognition program to raise morale.
    If you are the type that desperately needs personal, face-to-face interaction, obviously this would not be the company for you. But your coworkers are right there to chat with. Chat with them!
    Training could be better defined. Our trainers are not the issue, but the material. What they are given to teach you and what you really need to know are completely different in a working situation.

    Keep up the great work!
    Improve training materials so that they better match the world of production.
    Create an employee incentive program for great work, rather than simple coaching for substandard work.
    Don't pay attention to the poor reviews.

    Pros

    The company has a strong sense of seeing each employee prosper and develop into the best agent you can possibly become! As long as you keep your supervisor in the loop and communicate, you should not have a single complaint!

    Cons

    There is no room for technological issues in this or any work at home position. With that being said the position can be very stressful due to the company's systematic issues on a daily basis, which can make an already stressful job-a horrible experience!

    Fix the system issues and develop support or a more feasible window for employees when they too have tech issues due uncontrollable circumstances.

    Pros

    I love my job and the work I do. The team is great. I cannot say enough about the people - they are wonderful in so many ways: smart, hardworking, honest. Company leadership has solid plans for growth and they invest in their people! What's not to love?

    Cons

    I am a tough "grader," but I honestly cannot find anything that is lacking.

    Pros

    I enjoy being able to work from home. The benefits are nice and other job opportunities to work from the comfort of your home.

    Cons

    Maybe just the idea being your working from home, you do not see anyone face to face, it is all online based, No office to go to.

    I have been working at SYKES

    Pros

    Easy to get full time, overtime offered, great managers (coaches). Very flexible, works with you in emergencies, offers benefits at low cost. Working from home is amazing.

    Cons

    Vision benefits are a little hard to use. Computer I was sent is a little wonky at times
    Pay should be based on state. I only get a little less than $.50 cents more a hour then min wage making $10 a hour but others in other states make a few dollars more than min wage so $10 is a better pay for them than for me .

    I have been working at SYKES full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    I can work from home and save money on gas. The pay is good, the benefits are great, and the company is 100% legitimate. Because of Sykes, I have a full time job that allows me to have time with my family! I never have to worry about missing work due to car trouble, bad weather, or accidentally missing my alarm. I walk a few steps from my bedroom into my office, and I am at work!

    Also, I am a military spouse. The possibility of frequent moves is very real. So I love that I can take my job with me wherever I go and do not have to worry about causing financial strain on my family.

    Cons

    I have yet to encounter any.

    Pros

    My drive to work is just awesome. I have only had one accident (stubbed my toe on the couch). I have had a couple team leads and all very nice and supportive. You are always learning something new. The time off theory is interesting and is awesome, you can take the money or the time that is cool.

    Cons

    The home health ins stinks. Have not looked at this upcoming years but last year was disappointed. Can be lonely in the office at times.

    I hope the ins is better this year. You have a great team out there!
