    Pros

The staff was great to work with. I learned a lot while working for only a short time with the company.

    Cons

Parking on campus was terrible, even for staff and faculty. Had to make sure to get to work extra early so I was able to find a spot.

  3. Saint Leo is a great company to work for. They really try to help their employees succeed.

    Pros

Great benefits, true to their mission statement, creates a family type environment, ample opportunity to get more involved with students outside the classroom

    Cons

Slightly less pay than other universities, far away from civilization, in some departments a lot of politics is played but it's not seen unless working closely with them

    Pros

Collegiality is fantastic. Faculty work well together, despite the administration. Once tenured, life is a coast to retirement, but getting to tenure is a tough road.

    Cons

New hires have to figure a lot out on their own. Administration is outwardly supportive, but throw out the words "probationary employee" way too often. You have to teach the way the administration wants you to...not a lot of autonomy for the faculty.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Easy work, and a pretty nice place to work. Everyone is friendly. On site cafeteria (though not free). On site Gym and Pool as well.

    Cons

Dealing with people is not a very fun thing to do. You have to go slow when talking with students because most don't understand what you are trying to say.
