I have been working at Sam's Club part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The people you work with are usually great, starting pay is much better than most places. Jobs are not to hectic

    Cons

Management is just sillly for the most part, butif your manager is the kind to watch you and see you all the time run away. My management on the floor is great cause they train you well and let you fly. The front end not so much.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Sam's Club

    Pros

Lovely co-workers. And most of the time, the members were pleasant. And they were fairly flexible with hours. And my managers all loved me.

    Cons

I was hired as a part-time employee, but I was working 40+ hours a week. But I was only getting paid as a part-timer, so that made me annoyed. And the place in Florence is really under-staffed so it was frustrating.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you're understaffed, hire more people instead of working your current employees to death.

I have been working at Sam's Club full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The investment in stocks, benefits, the pay grade, yearly raise, and yearly bonus

    Cons

I have not seen any down sides other than not having enough hand held terminals, the computer system crashes a lot, not able to do overtime, and not enough hours for Sam's Clubs

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

should give clubs more hours to distribute amongst workers and allow overtime, need to fix system problems, and give clubs more hand held terminals.

I have been working at Sam's Club full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Truthfully. I understand why Sam's Club/Walmart get a bad rap.. Though, I love working in Optical as the manager. I would never switch jobs if I was content working the same job my entire life!

    Cons

Really just pay the employees better.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
