I worked at Sankalp Semiconductor full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I worked in ISD division where there was maximum utilization of human resource with lot of projects in hand.
Leaders are hardworking and ensure constant learning . Sankalp is ideal for those who are ambitious to learn and grow in VLSI.
Work environment is very friendly .Most employees being young and unmarried, are jovial and fun loving.

    Cons

1.Hectic project schedule demands working on weekends
2.Leaders in ISD division are stingy in giving compensation leaves for working on weekends.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

1.Make rules stringent regarding women working beyond 7.30 pm
2.Weekend work-culture should be looked into and a systematic approach towards compensation leaves is needed.

Great place to start your career especially if one wants to stay in Tier-2 cities away from the problems of big cities.

I have been working at Sankalp Semiconductor full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    1. Great training and continuous knowledge sharing within teams.
    2. Getting to stay near homes in Tier-2 cities.
    3. Good projects to work on wherein one gets to learn a lot.

    Cons

    1. Compensation is not as per industry standard and a bit on downside.
    2. After completion of 2-3 years many people leave either due to lucrative offers elsewhere or not getting opportunities further to expand their career.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to give more opportunities to people with 2-3 years experience in Sankalp Semiconductor for leading teams and projects rather than hiring almost always from outside.
Senior management needs to be more considerate and caring for the people as it used to be in one point of time.

I have been working at Sankalp Semiconductor full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    1) Very good company for starting your career in VLSI as lot of learning and support is given.
    2) Approaching to the senior management is easy , though that scenario is getting change slowly as the company is moving out from its start-up phase.

    Cons

    1) Pay is very less compared to industry standards.
    2) Facilities given are very poor. Facilities team is pathetic and there is urgent need to change it. Very poor co-ordination in facilities and no sense of responsibility towards the employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1) Keep a very tight check on the working of facilities team - Genuine feedback for facilities is required . Facilities team needs to be concerned on how to make life of engineer working there easier and not vice-versa.

Company is good for starting career in VLSI domain as there is lot of learning here.
    Initial training is good.

    Cons

Salary is less compare to market standards.
Instead of hiring experienced employees, Should give priority to those who are sticking with company with same amount of experience

I have been working at Sankalp Semiconductor full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good training for freshers focused on improving electronic basics
    Encourage Leadership for experienced people
Good for seniors people who want to shift to their hometown as Sanaklp encourages opening centers in Tier 2 cities
Also Good for people who want flexible working hours , specially for people those planning for Kids :)

    Cons

Facilities given for employes are bare minimum, they continue treating freshers as college students . Facility team is useless
Too many heads at top level, Everybody wants to have their say

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get back your focus on people who have build the company from start-up to this level , which is now shifted totally to hiring top management and experienced people . Internally grown leaders are in sink with the companies Mission more then anyone
Improve Compensation for experienced people if you want to retain them
HR and facility team has to be rebooted
