I have been working at Sapient full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Company Culture, Values, Leadership, Co-Workers, Office Environment, Work-life balance, Benefits, + More.

I have worked for SapientNitro for a year now and it has been a great experience thus far! Everyone is extremely talented, brilliant, and nice - and you will learn a ton if you decide to work here. Work-life balance is pretty good, but expect to have occasional late nights/ early mornings. As with any Ad-Agency, everything is very fast pace and extremely hands on. Sapient wants you to succeed, and leadership often checks in to see if you need anything.

    Cons

Every day is different: although SapientNitro has an overall great work-life balance, there are definitely times where you will have a million things pile up at once. I wish there was a way to distribute tasks more evenly throughout the week. Again, this only happens about once every three weeks, but it's definitely a burden when it does (cancel dinner plans, stay late, etc.).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you're doing - it's been great.

I have been working at Sapient full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great culture, quality people, an environment that fosters honesty and growth, lots of opportunities for learning. You're never told no - instead you are always offered the opportunity to take on more responsibility, and are encouraged to work with others to enable the success of the company. Leadership is great with communicating the overall vision and growth of the company.

    Cons

Compensation/benefits is not as competitive as other places.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep living the core values, and the open lines of communication! The level of trust at sapient is great.

I have been working at Sapient full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Values its people. Builds a culture for the long term. Work life balance is fair, but like any consulting gig that somewhat depends on the project. Not driven by short term thinking. Dedicated to doing what is right for the project. Very values driven. Sounds hokey in this day and age, but true.

    Cons

401 plan stinks. Long vest, low match. Tends to promote slowly, which isn't terrible (you can't unpromote someone). Still a business and will make tough business decisions when necessary, but that's normal.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep on the current path.
