I have been working at Schneider Electric full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Schneider's tagline is "The Global Specialist in Energy Management." Working here really makes you feel like you're contributing to a meaningful purpose. Lately, there's been a strong push toward entrepreneurial practices and in giving employees more freedom to grow and develop themselves rapidly. They also have a strong commitment to a diverse and gender-balanced workforce. This has led to a community of extraordinarily talented people who are smart enough to push you and challenge you, but also fun to work with. In short, I really like feeling of excitement I get walking into work every day.

    Cons

It is a large global company, and that can sometimes lead to your typical red tape, silos, and processes. Sometimes budgets go through a quarterly rollercoaster, which can lead to funding (for travel, events) being cut at the last minute.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the efforts to establish a culture of entrepreneurship. You're doing well to establish a sense of shared purpose in the realms of sustainability, efficiency and innovation!

I worked at Schneider Electric full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The people at this company are fun, intelligent, and easy to work with. I left for the purpose of career advancement, but I could definitely see myself working for them again. Great experience!

    Cons

Office politics, like with most companies, can be aggravating at times. There is also little room in your schedule for internal learning.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take an interest in the people who directly report to you. Engage them on a personal and professional level every day.

I worked at Schneider Electric as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Great team, great management. Hands down the happiest environment I have ever worked in. People generally seemed to enjoy their work.Full employees seemed very satisfied with their positions.

    Cons

I was an intern, and felt that I did most of the learning on my own (didn't really get too much tutoring in my field). Still learned a lot though.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management is great honestly. Great communication and very encouraging. Supervisors seemed to genuinely care about their employees.

I worked at Schneider Electric full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The company has a great strategic growth model and leadership are always watching mega trends to ensure that Schneider stays relevant and aligned with customers needs. Lots of cross business opportunities and growth potential and good competitive salary. Also, great work life balance!

    Cons

Growth and company acquisition can make processes a little frustrating. Also need more focus on country process and less global process as it hinders business with customers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to listen to your customers and your employers and you will continue to be a leader!
