    Pros

The atmosphere, compared to other places I have worked, is very relaxed. They are very flexible and supportive as I am continuing my education.

    Cons

I have been working at Sealed Air Corporation full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Upper management keeps employees informed of company goals. Profit sharing applied to our 401K yearly.

    Cons

I started here in 2005 at a lower salary than I was making when I was laid off in 1994. Company wide surveys, show similar views by my coworkers. Due to my personal situation, it was necessary for me to accept this position.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upgrade salaries and increase the yearly raise. I was insulted by the raise I received this year.

I have been working at Sealed Air Corporation full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The pay is good and the benefits not too bad.

    Cons

Tries to stay lean, therefore more work gets put on the lower people. Harps on production. but keeps putting obstacles in place that creates road blocks from succeeding. Also the company doesn't spend enough money on equipment. The equipment is aging, which makes it harder to maintain production goals. In order to maintain the equipment, the company needs more maintenance. Currently there is only two people on shift that works on overhauls and PMs. That is not enough to get everything done to the equipment that needs to be done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend more time listening and acting on what the people that makes the money are suggesting. Spend less money on frivolous things and more on equipment and hiring more help by creating other positions to help the work flow.

I have been working at Sealed Air Corporation full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great people and culture that support one another across projects and departments. Employees go above and beyond to meet or exceed goals,

    Cons

Health Care has gone down with recent changes, minimal advancement opportunities for a number of positions. Focus on process management rather than project work has reduced the amount of progress.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Develop people, embrace current technology both manufacturing and product specific to improve products and processes. Look into small reward incentives for employees.
