    Pros

Sealed Air is a progressive company with excellent leadership and growth potential.

    Cons

Marketing often misses the mark in listening to customers and developing products and programs that carry a universal need. Too many layers of management stifle the ability to grow at the local level.

    Advice to Management

Build policies on manufacturing that does not require third party partnering which does not not add value to the purchasing end user.

    Pros

Sealed Air is a well-managed company focused on delivering innovation and value to its customers, and it does. The company has well-defined annual goals and review processes, and a standardized process for career development.

    Cons

The acquisition two years ago of Diversey by Sealed Air has left legacy Diversey employees unsure of their role in the new Sealed Air Corp. Diversey has not focused enough recently on employee development and training, and some employees and uncertain what Sealed Air's long-term strategy for Diversey is.

    Advice to Management

Continue to define personal career development plans with direct reports, and work to improve employee training, both at hiring and on an on-going basis.
