Good working environment, pay and opportunity to learn and grow

    Physical Therapist (Former Employee)

ProsGreat pay-scale and bonus package. One can grow within the company. Select medical offers its own CE programs which is cheaper than outside programs. One can be autonomous running the clinic. Good team members. I had a great supervisor and I enjoyed working with the company.

ConsSometimes it is stressful to show profits all throughout the year. Less in-person meetings with the team members. But overall great company to work with for long-term basis.

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement should give more incentives and show appreciation to their employees in certain ways

Challenging, rewarding, great people & leadership

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Mechanicsburg, PA

ProsFast paced. Lots of opportunity to learn and grow. Accepting of new ideas. Top leadership is stellar. Stable, well managed national org. Strong ties to community. Best coworkers I've even had pleasure to work with. Accessible leaders. Open door policy. Unique perks. Staff works their butts off to do theotherright thing for patients and each other. Feels like family. Love my job!

ConsSure you see this everywhere, pay could be better. Expect a lot, we give a lot and are loyal but pay is on low end for volume of work and expertise expected. Benefit options are great but annual increases wipe out meager annual raises and the other401k match is minimal. Staff growth also foes not match growth rate of the business. Run very lean already so when you add locations you should add staff.

Advice to Senior ManagementLook at compensation issues. You are losing , and will continue to lose, great loyal hard working employees because the pay vs workload is low.

    Some bosses micro manage
    Teams don't interact well

    great benefits

Center Manager (Former Employee) West Palm Beach, FL

Prosbenefit package is very fair and competitive, support from clinical services team, continuing education. being a large company, there are much more clinical resources available to increase knowledge base and trouble shoot problems.

Conscan be numbers oriented sometimes...schedules can be inflexible... no marketing help to promote practice..most marketing is required by clinic managers with little to no experience or time to perform that role. easy to feel like just a number sometimes, though that can be with any large orginazation. difficult to negotiate pay raises due to nature of healthcare field

Advice to Senior ManagementMarketing is a must in outpatient rehab division.... being killed by competitors marketing

    Good place for IT work

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    ProsManagement very supportive
Direct manager did not micro manage and allowed me to grow and self manage for the most part.
Encouraged to voice my opinion in most matters

Consonly way to go up was to work at corporate office.
sometimes tough to get the upgrades that were needed for new PCs.

Advice to Senior ManagementEncourage more training to tech employees. The basics are good to have, but it also pays to learn some specialized knowledge.
