    Great pay, opportunity for advancement, fast paced working environment, great coworkers, nicest management, well organized, kept employees well informed, time managed, fun competitiveness

    Not enough hours during seasonal job because they hired way to many people and didn't have enough hours to offer

    Don't over hire seasonal members so you can give them nice hours while they're there

    Leadership is caring and savvy, tries to provide growth to employees
    respected brand
    Much in-house technology is 'state of the art', what's not 'the latest' and greatest' is being updated
    good benefits, absolutely super bonuses
    High morale and team spirit
    company works hard to provide good work-life balance

    Cons

    Very fast-paced, typical retail environment; you have to be flexible!
    During some tech "crunch time" there is less work life balance
    Salaries not "top dollar" but bonuses more than make up for this

    Pros

    You get gratis, everyone is so nice, the discount isnt too bad and you get to learn a lot about makeup and the different brands. If you are interested in makeup this job obviously is a great one to have!

    Cons

    you work with a lot of women so there sometimes can be drama, also the interview process can take awhile, especially if you're hired as seasonal and then asked to come on board permanently; you have to do more interviews for that. the training also takes some time, but its extensive and you will know what you're doing by the end of it. You'll have minimal questions.

    Management helpful with schedule as this is second job, you get gratis every month which is getting free samples from brands you sell! Often times full size!

    Dealing with rude and demanding customers who cannot be satisfied.

    Innovative company. Opportunity for growth within organization. Company cares about employees and customers. Learn about cosmetics and get free product. Fun to work for a well-loved brand. Work with smart coworkers who are really committed to the company and brand.

    Work life balance often a challenge. Can be politics between departments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Make sure talented employees have room to grow within organization. Work to prioritize initiatives -- shifting priorities and the sense that "everything is a priority" felt like it created a more stressful work environment than necessary. Consider adding paternity leave and sabbatical program.

    Pros

    My co-workers and managers became my family. So many great rewards working here, you get an average of $300 worth of gratis (free product) every month. There is a lot of training and education but it's fun and you get to learn about so many neat things. They're great about time off, too. I was paid $9.70 an hour... got an offer from another location of $10.05 an hour.... not the best paying but not the worst. It was actually FUN going to work.

    Pros

    Best Job I've had so far. The store can get very busy so, time goes by fast. Long training and its only half for a seasonal, but they cover everything well. Cashier is not a hard job and the best part is meeting new people, and People who are trying a lipstick for the first time, or a teen who is shopping for makeup for the first time. Customers do acknowledge you, and want to know what you think time from time. Overall great company!

    Cons

    Seasonal job, not many hours what so ever. Before and a little after christmas was the jackpot. But this seasonal job is not supposed to end till End of January, and i have not worked for the past 2 weeks.
