Current Employee – been working at Sheetz full-time for more than a year
Pros – Great benefits, awesome team. When things come together, everybody wins. Customers, team members, everyone.
Cons – Sirens can cause a migraine. Things like the scheduler can make more than one conflict. It's reactive, and we need the flexibility to be proactive. It's all about the TCF.
Advice to Senior Management – Don't be afraid to make your store, yours.

Former Employee – worked at Sheetz part-time for more than a year
Pros – Great pay, opportunities to advance in company as desired, supportive staff, flexibility for students in high school or college
Cons – Very busy especially during holidays, work most holidays if no seniority.
Advice to Senior Management – Don't pick favorites, treat all staff equally. If transferring to different location for any reason, don't cut employees pay!

Current Employee – been working at Sheetz full-time for more than a year
Pros – Sheetz is well thought out business model that continues to change with the wants, and needs of it's customers. Pay and benefits here are plentiful, and no two days are alike keeping the energy up. My store has a wonderful crew; with many talents and skills that come together making for an awesome working environment to work in.
Cons – Labor is dictated by sales just like many other business models in retail, which is slow to catch up sometimes with the scheduling process. Sometimes you have to pick up the pace to keep up, but with a well groomed team you just get through it with multitasking.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to have your hand on the pulse of the consumer. Listen to your management team, and take some time to also hear those on the front end. I did not know this site was here, but reading some of the postings may help your decisions forward.

Former Employee – worked at Sheetz full-time for more than a year
Pros – Family owned..Fast paced..Excellent Benefits..Great advancement opportunities.
Cons – 365, 24/7 all year we are open. Managers have to work every holiday and hours are crazy. Hard to do it with a family.
Advice to Senior Management – It would be nice to have a holiday off every once in a while..because it's family operated they should understand that working 4 hours every holiday gets to us.

Pros – Great Pay, Tuition Reimbursement, Bonuses, Getaways, Half off discount on MTO and SBC.
Cons – It's a job, it gets a little hectic at times and sometimes management plays to much into the politics of everything when they should be focusing on their store.
Advice to Senior Management – When an employee pitches an idea to you. Give a thought, don't just push it off and believe yours is better.

Current Employee – been working at Sheetz
Pros – Our culture, our family values and connections with the community. We have great people and customers can't get enough. We are a great place to work!
Cons – It sometimes feels like we bite off more than we can chew as a company with too many roll outs at once. It's hard to keep up and perfect each new thing. We are fast paced, and always changing but we need to keep up the moral and make sure everyone has sufficient training to make sure we all have pride in what we do.
Advice to Senior Management – Have more hours to work with to develop our people and work on connections. More realistic training programs for new employees.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
