    Great Company

    Market Manager (Current Employee)

ProsWorked in Stores Division and had many great mentors and leaders. Enjoyed opportunity to be a Training Store Manager and share their great training programs. Women's Networking Group is sign of vision and support from upper management/CEO.

ConsAdvancements are upheld by unrealistic sales budgets that don't mirror current market conditions in your area. Your hard work and methods do not count towards promotions, only making your numbers. Also annoying to deal with contractor pricing schedules.

Advice to Senior ManagementAdapt employee promotional criteria to current day practices, update computer systems, and adjust weekend hours so employees can either attend church Saturday evening or Sunday morning.....we don't do much business during those hours because our customers are in church!

best job I have ever had by far

    Warehouse Technician (Current Employee)
    Reno-Stead, NV

Pros-More overtime than any normal person would ever want available.
-Everybody at the Sierra-DSC are great people, it starts to feel like family.
-Everybody comes to work with a positive attitude, morale is really high.
-You can joke around and tease everyone in management, and they will not get upset. They have a sense of humor.
    -Excellent training.
    -Great pay.
    -Excellent progression.
    -Great benefits.
    -Strong safety conscience culture.
    -Highly competitive culture.
-Only been there a year, but the ambitious people seem to move up. Many are content in their current job they have held for decades because of the available overtime.
-It says a lot when people who have been there twenty-plus years still come to work with a smile everyday, and there are quite a few of them.

The number one thing for me personally is that people take pride in their work. It is invigorating to be on such a great crew.

We have a good time at work and still get the job done.

ConsThe only complaint I can think of is the last minute notice mandatory overtime. They sometimes announce it at the beginning of your shift on Friday that you will be working Saturday leaving no time to change plans.

Advice to Senior Managementkeep up the good work!

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThe opportunity for training and development is always available. If you work hard you will definitely be recognized. The focus is starting to shift to diversity to creating a more diversity in management which is great

ConsThe workforce is still dominated by males today. You must learn to interact with them in order to be successful
