    Pros

Involved in a lot of different businesses/industries which allows for significant growth opportunities. Healthy respect for work life balance, good benefits, excellent place to learn.

    Cons

Company is so big and diverse, it does not feel like one company, certainly not one culture. Depending on what line of business you are in, your experience will likely vary greatly. Makes money in spite of itself (like many large companies do)...recent emphasis on more efficiency, reducing redundancies, increasing profit margins has created a cautious workplace...

    Advice to Management

Critical to build more synergy across the company...One Siemens vs. many.

    Pros

Siemens provides great international opportunities, they provided competitive pay for me coming out of college and also understood having a healthy work/life balance. Higher education, especially in technical fields is very respected.

    Cons

Many business decisions are made by international leadership who may not be overly familiar with the local market, culture, etc.

    Pros

Colleagues are great and good to work with. Software/Technology is not current but at least they're fairly current. They stress process improvements. Personal growth is present for specific individuals but not for all. PTO is ok.

    Cons

Training is usually not available if it's system related, and will rely on manuals. Benefits are average. Personal growth for specific individuals. Lacking in communication and large political hurdles will be encountered. . i.e. buddy system used for hiring and they're not always the best employees. Company wide has guidelines and processes, but employees tend to ignore and not enforced by upper management.

    Advice to Management

Better communication is needed and less political views. Need to work as a well functioning group and not in silos. New Hires need to be local in the USA, instead of importing them in from home office in Switzerland and then they leave in few years to go back home.

    Pros

    Stable and relaxed work environment.

    Cons

The management is poor. Nobody is willing to take the responsibility of anything. Always like to find scapegoat for project fault. Management or authorities are protected. Players are the ones to be blamed.

    Advice to Management

    Too many non-productive personnel.
