I have been working at Siemens as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

Good mentorship, winning team mode. Learned a lot about the financial aspects of offshore wind energy. The team is the right size (20-30 people), allowing to get to know each other. Lots of calculations with Matlab however making the work sometimes a little boring. Would be nice to be in the field more often.

    Cons

Lack of diversity, both gender nationality and background.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The manager of the department David Molenaar is a very motivating person. I am confident that he will make it to the higher ranks within the organisation.

I worked at Siemens as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

Highly international company with a diverse spectrum of businesses. You can see and feel exciting opportunities at hand at any time.
I worked as an intern among senior management and I was welcomed warmly as a full member the team, regardless of my status. The working hours and overtime compensation programs were very attractive.

    Cons

Siemens is a very large coorporation and the hierachical structures that are present in many parts of the company can sometimes prevent dynamic development and out-of-the-box thinking. This can sometimes lead to a bit of frustration, especially by technical employees who are not inside the management processes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Try to flatten the hierachy.
