    Loved working there

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsI liked that the partners had good experience and were willing to impart that on others. I enjoyed the team environment and the quality of the work. I thought it prepared me well for future roles.

ConsThey weren't that busy and I felt like the associates were being blamed for not bringing in as much work. It seemed with every passing managing partner there were huge disparities in the message being made and often contradictory.

Advice to Senior ManagementLiked the company overall but perhaps teach the partners more people skills towards their associates rather than just clients.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

4 week internship across 2 departments

    Summer Intern (Former Employee)

ProsVery friendly staff. Their internship was extremely well-organised and we were given decent work by supervisors. They also organised a lot of interim seminars, departmental tours and workshops to introduce us to the firm and to break up our individual work schedules. Work hours of the senior staff their seemed decent as well.

ConsTheir strategy appears to be a heavy shift in focus on corporate, M&A work - at least, that was what Mark Dawkins stated when he addressed the interns. Whether this might lead to other departments being moved to the sidelines may be a problem for some not so intent on becoming corporate lawyers.

Advice to Senior ManagementA little more honesty with potential employees would be nice, even if internal propaganda is inevitable.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
