    Marketing Intern (Former Employee)

ProsYou are treated like a true employee. You won't find interns fetching coffee or being ignored! Although your intern experience may vary by department, you really are treated like royalty, as well as given assignments that significantly contribute to the company,

ConsEasy to get lost in a sea of interns and employees, but the positive outweighed the negative.

Awesome place to intern and work

Sirius Xm Music Programmer (Former Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsBeing introduced to such a dynamic atmosphere and working with people that are so passionate about their jobs is amazing. Everyone loves music so there is a spot here for anyone.

ConsThe expense of New York City can be difficult. Since interning is the best way to get your foot in the door college students should attempt to begin careers here.

Advice to Senior ManagementHigher salaries may help to bring strong people in from areas and later in life than college.

SiriusXM Radio is an amazing place to intern...

    Intern (Former Employee)
    Washington, DC

ProsSiriusXM has a great structure in place for interns. There are scheduled meetings with staff called "snack and learns," which interns get to meet company reps and discuss the business, everybody is very friendly and eager to help interns, and best of all they give opportunities for employment for good interns.

ConsThe employment process is pretty slow. I know of a few interns who applied months ago and are still waiting to receive news about the position. Also, no pay.
